16-year-old Dumindu, diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL), had one heartfelt wish—to have a tablet so he could catch up on schoolwork and keep learning while undergoing treatment.

When our Make-A-Wish Sri Lanka team surprised him with his very own tablet, his face lit up with joy! But Dumindu had one more surprise for us—he’s a huge fan of Shihan Mihiranga and wanted to sing a few of his favorite songs for the staff.

With a soft smile and a confident voice, Dumindu turned the Healing Garden of Sri Lanka’s first Paediatric Palliative care centre -Suwa Arana into a concert hall. His voice carried not just music, but hope, strength, and joy—the heart of every wish we grant.

Dumindu’s wish reminded us that even in the toughest times, a single moment can shine bright enough to change everything.
